Welcome to Centre Region COG
The Centre Region Council of Governments is a voluntary association of State College Borough and the townships of College, Halfmoon, Harris, Ferguson and Patton. It was established in 1969 to provide cost effective and high quality public services. The COG's service area is about 150 square miles with a population of 92,000 residents. COG News

Development of Regional Impact (DRI) Application for Calvary Baptist Church
At its March 26, 2012 meeting, the COG General Forum voted to allow a Development of Regional Impact application for approximately 28 acres in Harris Township to be brought forward outside of the established review schedule. Based on the Centre Region Growth Boundary/Sewer Service Area Implementation Agreement, the Centre Regional Planning Commission (CRPC) will review the DRI application at its regular meetings in May and June, and the COG General Forum will review and take action on the application at its regular meeting in June.
